About PriceyDicey
PriceyDicey is a coupon and deals site for shoppers in the United States. We list discount codes and offers from online stores, show you the terms attached to each one, and tell you plainly when something has stopped working.
Who runs this site
PriceyDicey is owned and operated by Suhaib Qaiser, trading from 302, 220 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2H1, Canada. The same owner runs a small group of coupon sites for different markets. There is no parent company, no investor and no third party with editorial control. Full contact details are on our contact page and in the impressum.
It is a small operation. A person reads every offer before it goes on the site, and a person answers the contact form.
What we actually do
Stores run promotions. Some of those promotions come with a code you type at checkout; others are simply a sale where the price is already reduced. We collect both, sort them by store, write down the conditions attached to each, and publish them with the date they end.
We do three things that a lot of coupon sites do not bother with:
- We show the terms on the offer itself. Minimum spend, new customers only, selected products — these sit next to the offer where you can see them before you click, on a phone as well as a desktop, not hidden behind a tap.
- We mark expired offers as expired. When an offer’s end date passes it comes out of the live list immediately and appears in a clearly labelled “recently expired” block for three weeks, then it is deleted. We do not leave dead codes sitting in a live list to inflate the page.
- We tell you what a button will do before you press it. Every code button says that it will reveal the code and open the store in a new tab.
How we are paid
When you use a link on this site and then buy something, the store may pay us a commission through an affiliate network. You pay the same price whether you came through us or typed the store’s address directly.
Commission does not decide what gets listed or how it is ordered. Offers with no commission attached appear on the site alongside offers that do earn us something. The full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.
The standard we hold ourselves to
We follow the IAB UK Affiliate Marketing Council Code of Conduct for Vouchers, the code that Awin and the other major networks enforce on the publishers they work with. That page sets out each rule and what we do about it.
Getting things wrong
Codes fail. Stores change terms without telling anyone. Feeds go stale. When it happens we would rather hear about it than not: tell us through the contact page and we will take the offer down the same day. Brands and affiliate networks asking for an offer to be removed get the same treatment, usually within a few hours.
